1 Schedule Creation: this week I will make sure that I create a realistic schedule to enable me to submit a completed project for the 15th February in accordance with the objectives outlined in my treatment. The schedule will be realistic, detailed and will contain 3 meaningful activities to complete as homework. Homework activities should take up four hours additional study time per week.

2 Schedule Creation: Today I will look at other commitments I have in my other A Levels including scheduled exams – this will enable me to produce a realistic schedule. In order to do this I will need to ask my other subject teachers about deadlines for homework/coursework during the next six weeks.

3 Schedule Creation: Today I will create my schedule, taking into consideration my future exams, how long each page in my product will take to create and complete. I will also respect that some pages will require a little more time and focus than others, and that problems might arise, however I will deal with these problems in homework sessions and will assess my progress in weekly Project Monitoring blog updates.

4 Project Monitoring: I will introduce what I will be writing about in my Project Monitoring blog updates, and the difficulties I might face along the way of creating my project.
4 Schedule Creation: Today I will continue to create my schedule, taking into consideration my future exams, how long each page in my product will take to create and complete. I will also respect that some pages will require a little more time and focus than others, and that problems might arise, however I will deal with these problems in homework sessions and will assess my progress in weekly Project Monitoring blog updates.

Contingency Plan

Contingency plan
Problem
How will you avoid or solve this problem?
Model Doesn’t turn up to photo shoot
I will make sure my model knows exactly where and when the shoot will be, I will also make them turn up thirty minutes early to ensure we start on time. However I will also have a backup model on hand to step in.
Props are forgotten or lost
I will make sure I have all the props in my possession the day before the shoot and will make sure they are with me at all times.
Part of the wardrobe is lost or forgotten
I will bring spare clothes and make sure my model knows exactly what they are supposed to wear in advance of the shoot; I will also have a team of people working on wardrobe who will have outfits planned in advance.
Model is late to photo shoot
Run through lights and take test shots to make sure lighting is correct. I will also set up the set whilst I wait for my model to show up. However to avoid this I will tell my model to turn up thirty minutes early.
Any problems with hair and makeup
I will start again and take my time, making sure it’s perfect.
The photos do not turn out how I want them too
I will make sure I take my time doing the photo shoot, looking at each photo to make sure they give me the right image I am going for. If not I will take lots of different photos for me to choose from later. However if all else fails, I will book another photo shoot as soon as possible.
I lose my files
I will back up all of my files in various places to ensure if one set is lost, I still have them in a safe place. For example, on multiple, computers, on the internet, on external devices such as a USB stick.
InDesign crashes
I will make sure after every change I do, I will save my progress so that if InDesign does crash, the changes I have lost, will only be small and I won’t have to start again.
I miss a lesson
I will do extra classes and work through free periods to ensure I have caught up with work I would have done in lesson.
My flat plan doesn’t translate well to my physical product
I will then make a new flat plan and change factors in order to start my product again, with better chances of looking better. I could also create two different versions of the product and ask my target audience which one they prefer.
Can’t pick a font
I will make different versions of my product using different fonts, and then ask my target audience to pick which one they like best.
I become behind on my schedule
I will work through extra sessions until I am back on schedule
